HELP! I broke something

While retightening the bolts for the thermostat housing, I somehow broke the piece that the top bolt bolts into. (the top part of it broke off) the housing still seals pretty well, am I going to have any leaking problems because of this? What's the best way to fix this? Thanks.

jb weld? I think you are talking about the tab on the stat housing. Should be ok with some JB weld and then install with a little less force than before.

well, i found out how i did it, i tried to tighten the housing with a TB bolt , i'm really pissed at myself but thanks for the help

well now that you know how they come off, you can snatch one from the junkyard if you feel like it
