    FPR Adapter for 3500s

For those of you who have been waiting for these... here they are. The adapter rotates the stock FPR about 20 degrees to clear the 3500 UIM. I will most likely just send them bare metal and people can paint/coat them as they want.

I plan to ship these to Ben this Wenesday and I am sure he will have them in the store shortly after he gets them.

Planning on making some more in the near future. Ben was asking about making them 1/4" or 3/8" this time. I was going to check into some 1" thick material as well for those who may want to use them for nitrous or whatever.

I would be VERY interested in a thick 1 for nitrous. Well I should say Guaranteed to buy one that thick
Would 1" be enough? or more like 1 1/2"???

hey cnc, have u had a chance to see if the 3400 crank pulley will bolt up to the 3900's crank. i want to upgrade from 3400 turbo in my cavalier to 3900 turbo, and i want to use your external crank trigger..

Thats a good news - bad news situation. The pulley is interchangable and the reluctor wheel can be used but the CPS mount doesn't fit due to changes in bolt hole pattern. That is an issue that I plan to address when I get a chance.

I am not familiar with the Cavalier motor mount setup, will it clear the VVT actuator?

We need to make a front mount piece like JBP sells for $$$. The cavalier doesn't have the side mount does it? I know the grand am and beretta do.

early (82-94) j-body uses mounts like a pre 92 beretta.
front mount bracket is under the water pump pulley

rear mount is above the steady shaft

top tranny mount is behind my intake pipe under the wiring harness

there is a lower dogbone that goes to the subframe.

I updated that thread to include some pics of the TC cover. Let me know if there is anything else you need to know.

I recently bought an '06 Impala 3900 & 4T65E tranny. My reason for the purchase was to find what would be needed to swap it into older cars and RWD vehicles. What I have found so far is kind of interesting. I have only removed the UIM, exhaust manifolds, TC cover, coolant return system, PS pump & valve cover.
