    pistons

    need help finding pistons for 3400. looking for off the self pistons,better than stock pieces. n/a motor, slight overbore, about stock compression. hopefully hypers, or forged. someone posted trw makes some. has anyone else seen ARI Engines web site

      Yes, ari sells a stroker kit to make a 2.8 a 3.4 . Its called a stock 3.4 crank. How much are they selling their pistons for?

        isint a 3.1 and 3.4 the same crank stroke ?
        01 olds shilluette 3400/4T65-E stock for now

          Yeah, they are the same stroke. 2.8 is shorter stroke.

            No one makes off the shelf forged pistons for the 3400. You have to get them custom. It's that or stock type replacements. You aren't going to find ready made performance pistons for this engine because the demand isn't there.

            '00 Grand Am GT 3400 supercharged
            13.788 @ 103.73 mph, 320whp 300 ft/lbs

              mine (.020 over) were $327 shipped. took about a week IIRC.
