    3.1 Block W/3400 Oil Pan?

Can the 3400 Aluminum Oil Pan be fitted to the 3.1L Block?

With enough modifications, probably. It won't fit as it is though.

you would have to close up the bolt hols that are on the side of the pan that bolt to the main caps, thats the only obvious thing i can see...why would you want to do this?

You could swap the caps if that was the issue and have the pan bolt to the mains.

I am just trying to decide on a better oil pan then stock 3.1. Thats all and the 3400 seems to be larger and it is Aluminum. Not looking for performance just something more, know what I mean?

          Thanks for the input.

My 3400 knowledge is low since I have only ever torn one apart and that was like 3 years ago now.
