there is no need, if you want a rwd v6, buy a rwd v6. it takes alot of work, research, time, money, and some special parts. in the end i dont think it is worth it. you run out of room in some of the n bodies, and the logistics of all the cutting and stuffing, its just alot of headache

In the weird case someone wanted to convert a fwd n-body to a rwd car.... What car would suggest matching a drive train trans and rear differential from?

I had one of my why not buy a different car to mod thoughts. Like a RWD V8. Since a camaro with mods pushing 400hp could be attained for cheaper than the tranny you are planning on.
