    wtf.. lol

This happened in a 3400 yesterday after only a few minutes of running.

Cam is .506 lift, all the other springs have roughly .060" before coil bind.

Were those from Ebay? If so, it doesn't surprise me one bit.

                      He likes to gamble..

it's gotta be running for the V6 bash, that's why we're pushing so hard. poor guy pulled his stock 3400 and stuck in the built one.. it spun #4 rod bearing after a few minutes ( the block is cursed).. so he had to pull it again and put the cam and P&P'd top end on his first 3400.. now it breaks a spring.

Wow. Try to take some detailed pics when you get it out, im willing to bet there was some type of flaw in the metal from the factory.

                            busted shit FTL!!!

i went the race track sunday(9 days ago) and ran a personal best, 14.71, with a stock 3400 in my bird.... went home, ahd the motor out that night, and from there everything sucks :P swapped it, blew it up, pulled it again, swapped parts, dropped it in, broke a spring, got a new one from GM(had the blue "Made in Germany" tag on it), put that in tonight.... it has a gross-sounding top end clack also.... so tomorrow i get to pull the timing cover and make sure the cam bolt it tight.... because we checked all the rockers, that's when we found the spring, we were searching for a misfire. Misfire's gone but it's waaayyy to noisy... so i'm doing that tomorrow.... man..... what a week.... add in my GF breaking up with me and kicking me out of the house, and i stopped having a good time last monday night
