What do you do when you cant fit a 10mm socket on a 3/8's bolt Beacuse it slips? slide on a 9mm socket with a hammer? or just twist the rachet sideways till it grabs enough?

About... 3 days ago I developed an exhaust leak, damn near certain it's from the balljoint, so the springs are halfway on.
And by halfway I mean the first one took 5 minutes and I'm going for round 2 on the second one once the engine cools a bit LOL
One of the coolant hard lines (on the 3.1, anyway) is close to one of the flanges. I don't know if the 3x00's have one in the same spot, but here's a heads up just in case: make sure the flange is turned so that damn coolant line isn't in the way before you put the springs on. Although I'm probably the only one on here mechanically uninclined enough to 1) miss that, and 2) have the muscle mass of a slice of Wonderbread.Alan
