    Its more about the fuel puddling in the intake port and evaporating faster with a higher coolant temp. How does coolant temp change exhaust temp directly? Why is a 195 stat hurting the plastic bits under the hood when a 180 isn't? Why are you ignoring the 1200 degree exhaust gas going through the manifolds, radiating heat in the engine bay?

    Cite your source for the 195 stat being used solely for emissions, specifically increasing the exhaust temp to ensure the cat works more efficiently. I couldn't find it.
