    New kid with a 3.1/3.4 hybrid

    Names rick and im from burlington. i got a 1995 grand prix special editon with a 3.1/3.4 hybrid. it has a 3.1 gen 2 lower end and a 3.4 gen 3 top end. it has all new forged internals and roller rockers new roller cam and all new lifters valve springs. it has been bored .60 over and ported and polished.
    95 GP with a 3.1/3.4 hybrid,custom exhaust(sidepipes)also have custom interior.Over 300 horse.

      what camshaft are you using?

      you sure its a gen2 bottom end? 95 should be a gen3 engine anyways.

        95 is a gen 2 and im using a comp cam that you can get directly from gm but there is just so much shit in this engine that i have no idea how much power it really has.have to get it tuned.

          95 isn't a Gen2. The last Gen2's were used in J-bodies and Luminas in 94. All other body styles went to Gen3 in 94. You might have a Gen2 bottom end, but its not from a 95...

              All GM performance cams for 660's are made by Crane, not Comp. Unless you have forced induction then 300hp would only be produced on a very wild motor and would most likley be next to impossible to drive on the street.

                and i def have over 300 horse i just have to get the programmable comp.it is def a gen 2 cuz i have a gen 3 block that i was gunna use but the gen 2 blocks are better and more rugged. and my bad the cam is a crane cam. but the motor def pushes over 3 hundred for horse.

                        300hp, you must of dumped some serious money into that motor to get there without boost. dyno time.
