How long does it take you to strip a car down enough to get rid of a crappy single stage paint job, re-paint it with 3 guide coats, blocked in between, 2 base coats, 3 clear coats, color sanded and buffed?

No it doesn't run, did you see the last posts about the shoddy engine work, hence the reason it went to paint first?

This makes me anxious for the day my friend resprays the 92... He offered metal flake (no), some with some shimmer, but not metal flake (no), I just replied I just want it a nice dark gloss black. I'm almost thinking like a jet black, nice and dark. He's going to clear it with this special clear that he said is almost self healing like.

I'm just joking around. I've read every post, I'm just really anxious to see it run and see the end result. I didn't think you guys would be so involved in the paint stage of this build, just what the paint shop wouldnt be able to do.

Ah ok. I was being cranky lol. My good friend Tony did all the work on the painting end. Was going to do it here at our shop, but he landed a new job as a manager and decided to bring it there.
