Magnecor. They used to run $200 a set for the KV-8.5, no clue what they ruin now. They should last the life of the car though. Mine probably have over 100k miles on them and I've no plans on replacing them.

Good Lord, $40 per cable for the Z34!!! But if they last the life of the car, worth it but wow.

Luckily mine were on the car when I got it. I'm going to modify the boot holders for the rear cylinders to work with the newer style intake. You probably have no idea what I mean when I say holder. I'll snap a pic in a few days. DOHC boots are nuts compared to pushrod boots.

Mine has been leak free thanks to jon.I have about 7k on the motor since he finished with it=) I've been thinking about installing my 3500 upper again.lol

Still looking for plug wires? I have some MSD wires with 5k miles on them, no known issues.. I'll let them go cheap, just send me a PM.

Other than that, it's been a little bit, any updates? I'm waiting until after class to listen to the exhaust clip lol

I'm still having a valve train or timing chain noise issue, and the motor seems to fall flat on its face wot doing 170, pulls great till then, got 3000rpm to go and I wanna get to top speed lol. Other than that, everything's well and running strong. Thinking about getting a 3500 top end done by Ben, and maybe a custom cam

It left us all 2/3 years ago, went to a wrecker, some idiot took just the headers and nothing else.

Problens were excessive wear on the tops of the cylinders, moon shape cuts, and went through a lot of timing chains till one took out the whole top end, bent valves mashed the heads. Was a fun chew toy, would never do it again in my experience, constantly chasing noises and leaks.

since then my only real build is a 383 Sbc, in a 98 Silverado, went together with out a single issue, running strong af. Going to be doing a turbo once I find a intake that I can upgrade injectors, right now they are almost maxed 330hp 440tq, estimated from completely copying a build. Running ls1 pcm 0411 swap for tuning.
