    HP difference in raising compression

How much HP might i get out of raising the compression on a modded 3400. CAM P&P headers/dp/catback/forged pistons. lets say from stock to 10:1 or 11:1?

how much tuning would be required if i were to raise my compression?

What computer are you going to use for tuning? You can go 12:1 and run pump gas no problem as long as you have a matching cam regrind. Been done, ive tuned it

cool. When I pull my 3100 out next week, i'm placing a chair in the bay and having a friend convert my obd 1.5 to 1.0!! and in goes the 3400.

what kind of hp should I expect from going to 12:1?

and as for a matching cam regrind? How should the cam profile change in relation to the compression?

RE: HP difference in raising compression

for a full point of compression change such as your questioned change 10:1- 11:1 you would see roughly 4% power difference. on a 200 HP motor that would be about 8 HP + or -
