3400 Engine Rebuild Kits?

anyone know if there are some godo rebuild ktis out i tried searching on here didnt find what i was looking for, and a gm dealer isnt open till monday


but just thought i`d ask

For the past couple of years i have looking for a rebuild kit for a 3100/3400. All i can seem to find is short blocks and long blocks, then you have to reuse the wtaer pump, pump cover, sensors intakes, fuel distrubiton etc. The only thing i have found of interest is some sealed power rings and forged pistons, they are not cheap. About 650-800 for the pistons, rings i can't remember how much. This was a year ago, so who knows, maybe they are cheaper now.

Pistons should be about 550 for forged.

I guess I can try to piece together a rebuild kit for the site store, but it will be a while because of all the stuff I have to do for the new store software and getting the current products fully listed first.

Chevy 3.1M 94-95
Chevy 3.1M 96
Chevy 3.1M 97-99

They usually have good pricing, unless you need a cam and lifters on the 3100, then it goes way up.

Wow! They have some good prices. the master is only 638.00 and some change. Plus that comes WITH the hyperteniuc pistons. Not a bad deal when you check out all the other stuff thats in the kit too.
