      Right on about the flanges...

I will be using mig to weld up my headers. Hopefully....How thick does the primaries need to be to withstand a turbo?

10 or 11 guage should handle it.

          Ok punks, here we go...

I have to fix the drawing outline because the way I had it drawn didn't work well with the laser cutter. But other than that, the ports line up almost exactly and still allow plenty of room for 1 5/8" tube to clear the port. And the bolt holes are slightly enlarged allowing for some repositioning of the flange itself. I'll work on getting the drawings fixed tonight and get it over to Geoff so he can start producing them ASAP.

Is there room to get a spark plug in there? Looks like more metal than needs to be there but maybe it is fine

Yeah, Marty told me to check that... It seems like there is more than enough, but I'll take a few more pics with each design of flange to show the room for the spark plug.

                        Spark plug clearances...

I almost have all of the drawings fixed so that the actual shape works with the laser. I'll get them sent off to Geoff tomorrow so that he can get them cut. I'd imagine flanges will be ready the 1st or 2nd week of the new year.

I would run the connection between each port lower as the entire flange will probably get pretty hot and it would be possible to get the heat further away from the plugs/wires that way. Not sure how much it would help.

What was the price on these? I'll need a set, 3/8" mild steel, probably, lol

same here.... i would love a set but i wont buy them as is because of that fact (and because i know just how much being burned by an exhaust manifold while changing spark plugs hurts )
