I just do the CAD drawings for people. Its up to the people that want the items to get them made.

What about "betterthanyou"? I know he did us very good on the header flanges. I don't want aluminum. Maybe if he got the CAD file, he could make me a set of 3/8 mild steel flanges.

I kinda want to toy around with a custom intake. I have a Very long runner, dual plenum design in my head.

Don't think these can be plasma cut very well, or I would already have a set...

Didn't we have a thread on this for bakolite spacers. That is something I would be interested in doing.

I Can have them made. But I don't know why Fallen wants steel. I will have them laser cut or cut on a water jet.

Ok, I am going to have some phenolic spacers made by TCE. They have the pricing for me so here are the options.

                      Qty. Thickness no o-rings o-rings
                      5 3/8 $60 $72
                      10 3/8 $55 $67
                      25 3/8 $45 $57

                      5 1/2 $65 $77
                      10 1/2 $60 $72
                      25 1/2 $50 $62

Cut for O rings will mean no more gaskets (it will be the gasket). Not cut means you need 2 sets of gaskets to use them. I think we should get the O rings cut and eliminate the gaskets. I will stock the O rings if someone should need to replace them so thats not a problem.

Quantity. Those are for sets, so 5 sets vs 10 sets vs 25 sets.
Thickness, 3/8" or 1/2". Let me know what you guys think. I won't bother with aluminum as I want to reduce heat soak, not help it.

will the o-rings fit oval stuff? Or is there special oval o-rings?

Will 1/2" be thick enough for the people wanting to tap and use nitrous nozzles?

Yes, they will fit the oval ports no problem. No, this is not for nitrous nozzles.

Cool I guess orings are stretchy. O-ringed stuff is cool. I noticed how GM is doing that on their TB's now.

I say o-rings are the way to go since it costs $12 more which is the same as 2 gaskets. Only you don't have to replace them if you ever take it off again.

If these then are for isolating heatsoak only, then what is the difference between 3/8" and 1/2" ?

Would raising a 3500 uim on a 3400 lim cause more or less grinding to be done on the 3500 neck to clear the FPR?

Im not sure how tall is allowed under the hood of all these vehicles. Between 3/8" and 1/2", im not sure what it will do heat wise. I also don't have my 3500 motor yet to do any comparisons on to see how tall you would need to either not have to grind or to make it easier to use the 3400 rail on a 3500 lower. My goal was simple, but perhaps it can solve a couple things.

I was talking about a 3500 on top of a 3400 LIM. But I guess 3500U/3500L with a 3400 fuel rail has the same issues only more severe.

I've yet to assemble my 3500 and stuff so I'm hoping I ground in the right area on my 3500 neck!!! hehe.
