Stock 3400 injector size??

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the stock 3400 injector size is? Somewhere around 16-19lbs maybe?

i thought it was more around 17-18 #'s....

I dont know actually. It should be close to 19# but I also heard the 3400 used the 3100 injectors at a higher fuel pressure. 3100 is 17.6# to the best of my knowledge. That would have them at 22.5#.

Someone needs to have one flowed so we knows for sure.

Well I guess to add to mix, what was the stock fuel pres. for the 3400??

(sorry guys, I'm puttin it in my fiero, which came with a 2.8. Just trying to get some basics sorted out)

the fuel pressure depends on which style of injectors they are.

the old fat regular style injectors were around 45 PSI idle IIRC.

the new Multec2 injectors are 52PSI idle.

43 old, 55 new. Those are the values ive heard (43 im sure of, thats what GM rates them at, the 55 I read in a press release a long time ago).

52-59 PSI rated as per GM service manuals. for multec2's

stock injectors on 2000 and up 3400's are delphi injectors rated at 22.5lb/hr @ 55psi.

So they are just 3100 injectors at a higher fuel pressure Well, same rating anyway at 43 PSI.
