    cam choices

I have a 3.4 that Im swapping the 3400 top end to and I want to which cams can be used with the stock 00' + 3400 valve springs, or do I need to upgrade the springs no matter what?

You should upgrade the springs. The flat tappet cams call for some pretty stiff springs if I remember correctly. That is, any cam worth installing anyway. I take it this is an iron head engine you are putting the aluminum heads and intakes on? Any other mods to the motor?

yep iron head to alum and intake... all the FI stuff as well. Getting run via megasquirt and either boosting it or sprayin a little, so I should probably upgrade anyways.... I understand the 34oo has roller rockers, any idea as to which push rod should be used to retain factory rollers?

You will need custom pushrods for this setup.

Crane and Comp sell straight springs for the 660 but I would rather use the beehive springs. They are a much better spring. Use LS6 springs or the Comp springs.
