pic upload restructure

this is one idea i think is pretty good. i can never upload pics due to pixel heights and the files my camera saves can't be opened by paint to shrink them.

is there any way to bypass that restriction? or maybe have the server configured to auto crop the uploaded pics to fit? i am not too up to speed on web page server apps and their capabilities, so feel free to tell me it is impossible with the current configuration.

Is paint the only imaging software you have? There are plenty out there that can resize images. We have a program running with the photo gallery that resizes pictures and creates thumbnails for the gallery, but I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to integrate it into the forum...

yea it is pretty much it for now. all the good ddl sites i knew are shut down. u know any1 that might be able to hook me ^?

it works sweet. sappyse107-i will work on getting those images to you on the write-up i did either tonight or tomorrow. i dl the media resizer/thumbnail thingy.
