You can't go any smaller on the reluctor ring, If they just take the previous designs and make the back the size to accept pressing in the ring all will be good, BUT the only problem with that is now you have to add space outside of that for the dampener and then the pulley surface... so in the end you end up with something that's almost of stock DIA...

My FFP is at my house with a ring installed if needed but I see many others have offered up their pulley's

i had to take the one off the stock pulley and put it in the mrz pulley (talk about a PITA)
so yes it has the timing ring.pm if you want to work something out.

do either of them have the timing ring on them? that is the factor that I am looking for. It has to have that, so they can design these to incorportate that and be smaller as well.

for the non-sfi guys, we dont need the ring. should be an cost option for the rings since alot of us dont need it. just food for thought.

Contact Scott099999999999999999999999999999999999999 and see if he will donate his FFP for you to look at. I think he is still trying to sell it. He might be interested in helping out.

As long as it's not too slow so that idle/cruise is affected. Some 3100 automatic cars cruise 70mph at 2000 RPM. (my car)

plus, at higher RPM's doesn't our pump tend to start cavitating anyway? slowing it down some more than likely isn't going to hurt anything. if anything the fan will just cycle a bit more often.
