Back to work on this finally...

i ran new braided stainless fuel line today and got that all hooked up and got the old leaking steel line removed. I'm hoping to get the wiring sorted out in the next few weeks, bleed the brakes and take it for a test drive by the end of next month. It needs an alignment bad as well.

I still need to figure out the air filter situation for my stacks. After talking with Hilborn i wasn't too impressed with what they have to offer, and the K&N setup is way too expensive and wouldn't fit.

That is going to be fun to tune. The IAC needs to be larger for 6 ITBs plus the pulse dampening sucks with that setup as you described for the MAP. Probably have to manipulate tables you normally wouldn't mess with, so yeah, lots of fun for you Sounds pretty damn mean right now.

Yes, there are 6 lines to a common plenum that houses the IAC motor and the vacuum ports. There really isn't enough volume there to give a good MAP signal but since my tune is set up for pretty much no idle vacuum as it is the car seems to run ok.

    lol, thanks Marc.

The custom throttle cable works great, i can't wait to run down the strip with it.

I think the IAC is still starving for air, i might just block it off and use the throttle stop to control the idle for now.

    It sounds great Dave.

AAAhhh... now I understand. You went with an automatic because you couldn't find a 5 speed throttle cable setup.

Why yes.. i ran it for a whole 2 seconds today. No gas in the tank so i dumped a little in each stack and it fired right up.

I'm going to pick up a new battery tomorrow and a few gallons of gas so i can get a proper video. I doubt i'll drive it this year but just knowing that it runs is good enough for me. Too bad it's probably going to sit outside till late February when the snow melts away.

this might give you an idea, they wouldn't work with a stock hood for sure.

as for what's left on the car...

    run 1 heater core line
    Plug wires (Accel cut-to-fit set)
    buy a 68.5" belt
Run a power wire to the ICM
    Hook up the cooling fan
    Install the kickdown cable
    Find a throttle cable
    fluids

Wow, they don't stick up THAT far above a stock hood as is. Cool.
