After 50-60 miles of datalogging and tuning the last 5 mornings i hope it's worth it.

Still randomly stalls at stop lights, it's a lot more tame on the highway though. Pretty sure i pushed it a little too far today on highway mode fueling, 39 degrees of advance and saw AFR's in the mid 19's.. Couldn't stop to add fuel so i had to keep kicking in AE to get the AFR's safe. Still no knock counts but the coolant temp started to get a littler warmer than normal. I need to go through and double check my math but for a few miles i was getting about 37 MPG.

I'm very curious to see how the LX9 manifold compares to the ITB's, I think we will be surprised.

Hadn't said much about it on the forums but I pulled the ITB's off for some testing with the old 3500 UIM and a 75mm LS TB. It's taken a bit of work but I finally got the mechanical side worked out. As you can see in the pictures i ended up mounting the TCE 75mm adapter sideways. This was the only way i could get the correct angle and throw with the 700R4's TV cable on the LS TB.

I had to weld a new arm to the bell crank and measure everything out per Art Carr's article here: http://www.cpttransmission.com/tech_tvcable.htm

Still have some tuning issues to work out (hard starts and stalling during Cell 0 to 1 transition) but overall it runs pretty good. Feels like a totally different car and it's MUCH quieter.

The fate of the ITB's is still in the air. We're going to the track Sunday for a last run of the season, If I trap faster than 99 and/or beat my 13.52 there is a better chance that they'll be up for sale.

    13.52 @ 99.2

    open cutouts = fun...

I'm assuming the smoke is from the slash cuts in the exhaust, not too worried about it at this point.

Stopped by the track tonight to try and get some runs in, ended up with 1 good run (2 total). The new 4K stall is a huge improvement for sure.

    New best of 13.67 @ 99 with a 1.9 60' on my 26x11 slicks @ 15 PSI

I didn't use the 2 step this time, i will next time for sure when i can get a bunch more runs in. No videos or datalogs, just a quick and dirty T&T.

No other updates, been driving the car as much as possible. Trans still has a weird leak after sitting for a few days. I bought a new pan from Summit, hoping that fixes it.

Revmax called today, They tested my converter and said it was stalling between 3200 and 3500 but according to my logs it's stalling around 2500. I think it may be the vehicle weight, my car is quite a bit lighter than a stock camaro. Either way, he's setting it up for 4K and now has all my specs (engine/car) so hopefully it'll do it's job. He seemed pretty concerned that it would suck to drive on the street but we'll see...

Here is a graph from a crappy run, shows the RPM vs MPH though...

I'm hoping my new/better converter will shave some time off my times.

I've got about 50 runs in that are between 14.5 and 13.9.

I'm hoping the different converter and more tuning will shave a second or more off of that.
