Good/Bad Seller/Buyer List

Anybody have any information on cadgear or motorman from the classified section? They are both selling 3.4 crate motors, which happens to be exactly what I need if I can't find a block (don't have days off til this Wednesday/Thursday so I haven't had a chance to shop around locally and I like the idea of new parts rather than machining used parts) and have to go that route.

ok this subject matter might be controversial but i propose we add another category to the list.

it is renigger: some1 who initiates a buy or sell put you through the trouble of getting quotes and setting the deal up and then backs out.

some1 who asks the price and then backs out doesn't count only ones who agree to purchase/sell count.

also 1 or 2 reports aren't that bad but if there is a pattern of multiple instances their credibility might be in question.

i have had a few in the past that i can't remember.

I am sort of, but I don't have the cash to swing for it right now. Also he emailed me saying he would take $600 for it, and he put it back up on ebay, yet again. I read through ebays rules, and if you bid, it's as they say a binding contract. On the other hand, the seller doesn't have to abide by it if they don't want to, basically as long as they haven't taken your money yet. I think it's bullshit. This means that I can put a bunch of stuff up on ebay all day long, wait till the auction closes, and say sorry, sucka, I changed my mind, so keep your money. Besides, if we did negotiate a new deal, you know he wouldn't follow through on it. Just as Dave about Travis's dealings.
