Another feature I thought of that some might want is to flash the SES light when knock is detected. My friend was running a custom chip on his 95 STI that had that feature.

Any progress on the other stuff?

Hmm where will I find the "apply patch thing? All I get is a blank box with a check box for "Set" and the regular save or cancel buttons.

open the 1.06 to 1.07 patch item, click apply patch, apply, save BIN. then it should be ready to go.

open the new XDF. now on the left side of the screen, there should be a "patch" category.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do I run the patch? Is it a seperate file or is it done in Tunerpro?

1.07 update. only really ALDL fixes, concerning 3BAR MAP, BPW, CCP/TCC PWM Duty Cycle. next update should have the spark cut rev limiter code along with the T56 style reverse lockout solenoid function at the very least. that last one could be used for other functions if you're running a manual and need something that is triggered on/off only by MPH.

BINs, XDF and ADX, no documents to go along with it. ADX has a wideband AFR value based on whatever wideband controller caffeine is running.

just run the 1.06 to 1.07 patch (and if necessary, the other two patches should you be using their function) and it will be updated assuming you used a 1.06 BIN previously. or start fresh with a 1.07 BIN, it won't really matter.

Post them from 06-09 for the LZ9. 08 wasn't variable upper that I remember.

hard to argue with the SAE dyno results GM has posted... torque drops after 4800, but HP still doesn't peak until 6000.

was there a specific RPO for 3900s without the variable upper, or were they all LZ9? wikipedia shows LZ8 as a 3900 with DoD, LGD as a E85 capable 3900 and LZG as E85 capable AND DoD 3900.

Don't use the variable upper, unless you like torque only perhaps. Close it flows small port 3100 top end. Open it flows stock 3400. Thats basically it. Non variable upper is significant flow over that.
