driver- the instrument panel is covered with a hobby store black suede. i sprayed the metal panel with fabric glue and laid the material onto it and trimmed.(... fuel system is a summit racing fuel tank, obx 1000 (aeromotive a1000 knock off), -8 feed line to an aeromotive bypass style regulator, dual fed by -6. The regulator has the return on the bottom of the regulator and is a -6 return hose size...) If you look back a few pages i have all the pictures. the intercooler r, 16.25"x12.25"x4.5", radiator is 14.25x18(Height), x2.5. It has its own fan on it as well as there will be an Co2 sprayer that i can spray the heat exchanger with. the picture of the reservoir is for the cooling system which i have to plumb to the radiator yet. My plan is to have to air brushed to look like a grenade with a "pull chain", its strange but it fits the exterior thats gonna be military scheme (p51 mustang).

From your'e fuel system specs, I'm guessing that your'e running E85? That's some high fuel delivery capacity. What sized fuel injectors are you running?

Midnight- I have an idea that you may find intriguing. Im thinking about placing an insulated tank after the heat exchanger that will have a coiled water line plumbed through it. The insulated container will hold dry-ice and will drop the temperature of the coolant as it flows through the coiled pipe. Dry ice will stay cold for prolonged periods so it would be good for a consistently cold air charge during a auto-x run.

I may or may not try it myself, but its an idea that you may want to play with.

I saw your update and my jaw dropped. Excellent work! A few questions...

I was looking at your panel. Did you cover it with felt? or is this some sort of spray-on coating?

Are your fuel rails configured for returnless operation? Im running dual 6an fuel lines with a single bypass style fuel regulator that's been configured for "return style" fuel rails with twin 188 pumps and 80lbs fuel injectors. What are your fuel system specs?

Im running a very similar a-2-w intercooler set-up. Im using a 6 x 21 x 2.5 heat exchanger (possibly two) and a 4.5 x 4.5 x 10 inch cooler core. My IC flows about 700cfm worth of air. What are your system specs?

what is this? A fluid separator? A reservoir perhaps?

BTW... I love the breather box. Should be real easy to clean up any bypassing oil.

small update. covered the water to air coolant hoses in the loom, also got new fittings in on the intercooler and filled the cooling system up. Charge pipes finally in and powder coated and clamped up. I got around to figuring out the throttle cable situation, picked up a ls1 throttle cable from lokar. The bracket is rough until my aluminum one shows up from a buddy. Primed up the oiling system and checked for any leaks, and i guess im fuel, and a few wires away from firing it up!!!

turbo taken back off and ceramic coated exhaust housing and part of the down pipe and also powder coated the compressor housing.

its all "ultimate chrome" powdercoat.

sorry for the delays in pictures and progress, ive lately been putting in some hours in details of the engine bay. gauge cluster built, gauges in and wired, lots of wiring finished. oil cooler in a mounted, water pump wired and plumbed, coolant expansion tank (will be air brushed to look like a grenade) with custom mount, alternator mount changed for something nicer, modified military surplus ammo can to become a catch can.. too much more to list. ill let the pictures do the talking.
