im calling the number on his page this week, after working all day in the heat in a factory i really dont feel like dealing with dickheads on the phone so it will prob wait till friday and at the moment i don't have any credit cards to do paypal and im not linking a bank account to paypal, so yeah thats the only option i got to pay with right now.

im picking up a better valve spring compressor the one i bought and returned to sears sucked donkey balls and fell apart when i was putting the springs on the heads.

if you look at his feedback it looks like most of the deals went through without a hitch and hopefully he's just a moron who needs to pay a little more attention to what he's doing.

and as for buying a laptop on ebay yeah i dont think id do that one ive looked before and for what people are selling shitty old ones for you can go to something like newegg and get a brand new one for about the same price if not much more and at least with them your getting something that hasnt been mollested and will work.

FYI.. we had a ton of similar valvetrain noise on a cammed 3400 on Monday.. turned out to be a broken spring.

Well this is one reason why I NEVER use money orders... now you really have no proof you paid... I currently have a dispute open with paypal over a diff assy that I never received... His one and only response to the dispute which was escalated to a claim, was a tracking number which comes back as a invalid number... I can see 80.88 hitting my bank account in the near future.

wow yeah buy em from ebay this guy is an absolute moron im STILL waiting for them to arrive. first it was the asshat didn't check the mail he received for 2 weeks and now he supposedly shipped them last Saturday.

While you guys have been nattering about this silly cam noise I have rebuilt my 2.8 in a weekend including new timing set, cam, lifters and 1.6 rockers. I have no valvetrain noise but then again I'm a gen 2. Get on the stick and stop whining about this.
