Wanna run my old dynomation again with a set of the 1.7's, or 1.7 on the intake and 1.65 on the exhaust.... just for shits and giggles...

hey ben what would be the best ratio to with on my cam. in the coming months im gonna go 3500 top end and rwd 3.4 pistons for the 11.5.1 CR that i was originally going for.

1.7 is a waste of time according to dynomation on your setup. It likes a belt ratio of 2:1 roughly with that cam.

Bottom End:
CP 8.8:1 Pistons
Scat 800hp Forged SBC rods
3400 Cryo-hardened crank with Double Roller
Upgraded Bearings
ARP Main Studs
ARP Rod Bolts
Dry Sump oiling system (not done yet but peterson fluid systems will most likelly be doing the work)
The Rest:
Ported 3400 heads with 26986 springs (or whatever you think is best)
Ported 3400 LIM
Ported 3500 UIM
Custom Headers
1600AX Whipple
Spearco W2A Intercooler
Built 282 Getrag
And obviously all the accomodating stuff (walbro pump, injectors, hp tuners, stiff suspension, etc)
The setup will be running 16-22psi hopefully making 450+WHP and enough to launch me into the 11s.....

Anyone have a guess of gains to be seen with 1.7's on a 1393 cam with comp springs? What would that put me at for total lift? Could larger ratio's be used without chancing damage? Stock bottom end, ported top end. Thanks guys.

What cam and what is your setup. I can tell you if .600 lift will do you any good.

These will be pedestal mounted as a drop in and go deal. 1.7 and 1.8 at least, with possibly 1.65 and 1.75. I don't know if we need those .05s in there but its an option. Scorpion has given it the greenlight, which is why i am posting.
Pricing soon. We are looking to offer them in sets of 6, so that you can mix and match intake/exhaust. I feel this is vital to get the best setup for every application.
May as well share a few more bits of info since this is a pretty big annoucement for the 60v6 community. Manley is making their super duty valves (race master exhaust and race flo intake) for the 3400 3500 and 3900 motors. I am designing the valves to optimize flow with extensive testing being done on the flowbench to get this right. For those running boost, or just wanting the best, these will be by far the best on the market. You can thank scoggin dickey for this as well. I am working with john at sd on anything 60v6 they will let me get my hands on
this also means im extremely busy. The site/store will be updated eventually, once this r&d session has produced something we can all be proud of

Ben - So when are these valves expected to be available? What is the diameter on both of them compated to stock? I am looking to order new pistons, but they need valve diameters, but i may wait for these to come out first
Geteck - don't you think the 1.7s are too much? even the 1.7s will put me over 600 lift......

Stock springs that bad eh? Oh well for those that already have upgraded springs even the LS6 sounds like an easy bolt on upgrade.

Thanks for the info Ben. That .484 lift sounds quite nice. I'll have to keep my eye on this thread for updates. This is deffinately more cost effective and easier than a cam swap.

.457 lift, which is fine with your setup. 1.8 is .484 lift, which is also fine with LS6 springs.

Im just curious what the lift would be with the 1.7 rockers and stock cam? I have LS6 springs and LS1 spring seats. Would those springs handle the added lift of the high ratio rockers?
