you cant though, your better off to start with a milled off version of the original intake, because there has to be room for push rods inbetween the intake ports, which makes this that hardest obstical, its do-able, but it will have to see a mill once the base is made... then again, and again... i didnt even thing about it myself till i had the intakes off and i was like SOAB, this wont be so easy.
I'll get a nice choppy cam and be as happy as possible.

i think i'm going to scrap the idea of a S/C, be happy with a N/A, shoot for 230 WHP with 3.69:1 gears, and just drive it.

That thing is so big casewise compared to my whipple!! I really don't see the power steering as being a big problem. I have looked at several different options. I right now, am considering the consequences of runner length and plenum volume, since I am almost certainly stuck with a v-shaped plenum with short (1-2") runners leading into that. I can move up at least 2 inches higher than stock thanks to my cowl hood, however I am not sure if I do that if the two piece snout and pulley will clear. I suppose I could always mold a small fiberglass speed bump to the side of my cowl where the pulley would be.

i forgot about this concept. now that i got the intakes off my car, i wonder if i should get 3 aluminum plates and start to build a intake. i got Alllllllllllllll winter..............
EDIT: i suppous theres going to be a small problem with the snout and power steering pump...
So if relocating the power steering pump was done, this idea is very hard to play with, very little room, that this sucker is wide. theres about 1-2" to bring the blower higher, so theres not much room for runner volume. BTW the M90 was out of a burnt wreck, bought it as a mock up piece. someone would also need a shorter snout.

I have the lower intake off a 3.4 f-body that I wanted t try to mill out then mill a flange to bolt a blower to it. I might have even had a thread on here somewhere asking about it. I was basically told roots blowers suck and don't do it. Running a TBI I'd rather do a roots setup. Unfortunally I've gave up on high powered 60 degrees and just dropped a v8 in my 4x4 blazer. The 3.4 wasn't making the power or torque to keep up with the tires I plan on putting on it after the solid front axle swap. I've since gotten a 2wd sonoma to put the 3.4 in.

I toyed around with the idea of a custom intake to mount a M90 from a Super Coupe. Was looking at mounting it a little lower and moving the injectors towards the valves. This would have required new valve covers to clear the injectors. The total height was going to be around 1.5" taller than a 3400 UIM.
Dave... isn't that the intake Ortie666 made for his Acadia (Chevette)? What ever happened to him?
