Been following this thread the whole time, and bit my tongue when I saw the times thinking "those are strange numbers for an 1/8th mile". Didn't know until I read your reply on another board that it was 1/6th mile. lol

Nice job. Get your 60' down and that thing will pull some good numbers.

We were just using the 2-step to test the meth controller. Which turned out to not be working.

How's the traction on gravel when you launch at 10 psi ? LOL

Who needs sheet metal?? . Im gonna run at the 1/4 without a bumper again to get plenty of air to the intercooler. But I'll run with the hood on.

On a side note I've now either got driveshaft vibration or there's something wrong with the transmission.

The flames are from the wastegates during 2-step. They'll actually create 'craters' if I 2-step over gravel haha.

What was that fire? Is your blow off dump up front?

Here's a decent vid of when I was at the track on Sunday. Hopefully more vids to come. I came 2nd in street class. Best of 5.97 @ 73.87 MPH, 2.1 sec 60-ft., 0.006 sec reaction time.

at least a bit of spin won't shock the living hell out of the rear end like a dead hook would.

Well unfortunately every time at the track I hooked, it stalled instantly. Until I can get some 4.11s back I think I'm stuck with some wheelspin

    Wheelspin bad, traction good.

I will be launching higher now that I know the tires can hold. I just didn't think they had that kind of grip in them . If I don't have just a bit of wheelspin though it will almost certainly stall. I think when I looked at the gear ratio calculator 1000 rpm in 1st is like over 10 MPH lol.

I thought you'd be launching that thing like 4000.

I have my 2 step set to 3400 now, it builds good boost and stalls the converter perfect. cant wait to hit the track, maybe this weekend !
