    front sump oil pans

Wondering if anyone knows of a stock front sump oil pan that will fit a 93 3.4 out of a camaro. Maybe a front wheel drive engine? Thanks

You would have to make one as I have not seen anything like this. What are you swapping the motor into that you would need this?

Agreed you would have to make one. You would also need to make a corresponding pickup. A 3800 (gasp) will have a central pickup which might make your job a little easier. No GM engine I can think of had a front pickup or front sump pan.

Even front mounted oil pump engines like the Buicks and Cadillac V8 had rear sump pans.

Would anyone know how many different oil pans would fit a 93 3.4 and how different they are from each other. (just making sure I check all the options)Thanks

You can use a 2.8L S-10 Pan which comes in 4WD or 2WD versions. You can use any Gen I and II FWD 2.8L, 3.1L or 3.4L DOHC Pan. If you have a good idea of what you want I would go to the junkyard and check some pans out. DON'T FORGET to get the pickup tube for the oil pump!
