Just a note: Thinking outside the box as I sometimes do, I used some engine valve springs I had laying around when I did this. Worked very well. The washers I got from Home Depot in the bolt section. Just bring your parts with you and see what will drop in the hole.

DRY transmission, Freshly built, with no converter weighs in at 161lbs with side motor mount on.

      Converter is 20lbs dry...

So I would say add about 10-12 quarts of fluid to that, and thats your total trans weight. The converter can hold like 3-4 quarts I THINK... and when that comes off the fluid doesn't drain out of that easily so even dropping the pan your only getting out about 5-6 quarts of oil... so yeah. It's heavy.

Dry with converter the trans weighs just about what I do... and it's shaped like a friken beach ball with a 80lb leg...

the diff isnt THAT heavy... Maybe 15lbs if that. Also remember a TH350/TH400 is a straight shot, this one has gears and a chain, and probably more case material too.

I don't think so, it was discussed once and I think we figured it wouldn't work for the 46t0-e, since it's vacuum controlled line pressure.

I have the adjustable pioneer one from o-reillys, with it turned in 4 turns from where it's at out of the box (max it recommends) and shifts are nice and clean, not too harsh at part throttle, and I have a poly insert in my upper mount even.

3400Modified....Where On The Diff Is The Tag To Tell Me What Accum I Have? I Can Only Get Under Half The Car Because It Is So Low. I Don't Want To Start It Just To Move It (I Have To Drive It On Blocks To Set A Jack Under It). I Can't See Any Tag Or Markings Anywhere. And My RPO Code Doesn't Say Anything.

Passenger side, between the firewall and trans, there should be a metal tag on the trans. It might be aimed up towards the sky a bit.
