can I get some second opinions or more a verification that if I have fuel spurting out of the vacuum port it is a bad regulator. and where can I get an affordable one. thanks for the help guys. unfortunately we already replaced the injectors. (probably needed them anyways with 127k)

if you have fuel coming out of the vacuum port of the FPR, something is defintiely FUBAR'd there.

If 1988GTU is kind enough to offer you an alternative source for a replacement Fuel Rail with a functional FPR... then you are one Lucky Dude. These damned units retail anywhere from $345.00 to $400.00 because the part that went bad in yours...the rubberized fabric bladder... cannot be easily replaced with common. fuel proof materials. Do yourself a huge favor...and take the man at his word...and the offer he's made as soon as possible...Such an offer is rare...and in the case of 1988GTU .... Golden....

Takes more than 20 minutes to swap out.

                  Remove:
                  Intake Hose to TB
Rear Throttle bracket and vacuum lines
Move the ignition wires out of the way
TB or TB heater hoses (I prefer removing TB heater hoses and bypassing)
                  Upper intake
                  Fuel Rail hold down bolt
                  Fuel Rail
                  Regulator

                  Reverse for install.

Bob, that is for the entire fuel rail and regulator, not just the regulator. See attached of the exact same listing, only a little higher on the list...

Right, they are $$$ from GM but the AC Delco is 117 or so from rockauto.

That one (listed for the 3.4 Camaro - not sure why the pic is so small) is only $67 from Rock Auto.
