    We've been over this several times. I probably need to update the article. Although it has been proven many times that any sensor works with any cam since (as 3400-mod stated) all the leading edges reside at the same location, I can remember at least 1 person who had issues with a cam sensor, swapped it for the matching year sensor and the problem went away. It could have been just a bad sensor, but I do know we have had "reports" of it not always working with mismatched cams and sensors.

      Yes, and I get the cheaper and easier to get cams to keep my pricing down I used to tell people to get the sensor but they all read the same thing, the leading edge.

        ah hah, well that makes it easier for my special project cams now, but can you use the earlier model cams like say 99-00 in the 3500 non vvt
