They are still on their current time frame, which is good news.

Well short update. The project is still on, but it (rather I) have run into a few red tape issues that were not brought to my attention. The project is on the back burner until end of Dec first couple weeks of Jan. They are still working on designs so to speak, but at their own pace. I will keep the post updated as much as I can, but it sucks that I have to give more bad news after moving along at a better pace for a little bit at least

It speaks volumes to just how important this product is to them and the priority they place on the applications.

Face it folks, our engines are not all that much of an interest when they can make LS parts, or whatever the hell it is they deem more important.

Now to be fair, how many sets do you really think they will sell? 10-12 maybe?

It is not just scorp to blame. Red tape is ambiguous. Do not blame all of this on them. Things happened at the wrong time to allow them to go much further at this time right now.

i think its a mix of both issues: they will likely be a low-volume product, and i'm sure there are some more irons in the fire that are more profitable/safer to make. in this shitty economy, i don't blame them...

not that there are more profitable ones....but in an LS world....it is hard to win alot of people over. even though they will still sell, one of the limiting factors at the moment is trying to come to an agreement on what is what and what the min order is. when they want you to order 100 sets as a first buy in, that is VERY steep for an unproven product. The prototypes will help, but with only a few to test it could take time to have a viable product.
