  Well, I finally got fed up with not being able to find old threads with vb4's existing search system. Its something that has basically been broken since the software was released almost a year ago.   New Chatbox on Forum Home

  I've decided to try one more chat option, since previous attempts haven't been the greatest. Anyway, it is a chatbox (shout box?) that is currently located at the bottom of the forum home page. And for a brief testing period, this is where I plan on leaving it. Depending on how the community uses it, there is the option to also show it in the forum areas, as well as the threads. An upcoming release will also allow me to place it on the CMS front page. But, as I said, I am currently just going...

  How To Create a New Article

  So I decided to write up a little article on how to go about writing an article. I figured maybe if I provided a step-by-step guide on how to do it, maybe more people would be interested in trying it out. It does seem like a daunting task when you first go about it, and until you know the in's and out's of the system, trying to get a good quality article really can be a pain in the butt. And this is coming from someone who has done a ton of these, across multiple different platforms throughout the years. With that said, let's get our feet wet!

  It's been awhile since I posted any news, so figured it was about time. Not much has been going on with the site, besides the temporary downtime, and subsequent software upgrade. I also decided to get rid of some of the bloat and get the site back to where it used to be. A fast site full of information. And will that said, how about we get some more information going?!?   New Feature - Facebook Integration

  With the upgrade of the site software, there is a new feature - Facebook integration. This is something I just want to try out for a little while and see how it works out. Anyway, you can link your Facebook account with the site by clicking on the FBConnect logo in the upper right corner. Once this is done, you can Like threads and articles, and you can publish articles, threads and posts to your Facebook account. Try it out and see what you think!
