Hey mine has a lot of dark going on! But then again the car is a brighter color. In a black car polished cover and black plenum would be good, or black cover and polished plenum. Other wise I'd do the blue cover black plenum.

Really though if I had a black car I would do a red/black engine theme. Red is Pontiac's colors after all

I've always liked the polished look personally... theres something not so pleasing to look at about a multitude of darker colors, i.e deep blue block, gloss black valve covers... just my tastes lean more toward chrome looking shit. The block color is alright, and I think using some colors lighter than, or chrome, would compliment it, rather than make it look like somebody puked up a rainbow. So yeah, i'd polish those things up, that would look sick.

Silly me for thinking I'm spending too much on my car. The spending bar has just been raised MUCH higher.

I hope this engine lives up to the money put into it. It would be a real shame to see it underperform.

thats just like milzy's stage 1 cam that puts out now folks hold on to your pants a whopping 5hp over stock.

i dont know what he did to the pcm's but the one i bought and was running in my old 3400 before it wanted to drink coolant and in the new one for a few months till i got dhp, that thing was throwing crazy amounts of knock and i wasnt even getting on the throttle.

i like some of the parts milzy has i got his solid trans mount on the grand am and i think thats about it. he keeps bullshitting about producing headers for the 3400 grand am guys but i dont see tha happening.

if he would throw some specs up with the cams he's selling then he might sell a few more but i wouldnt buy one without knowing what i was getting, thats why i went with ben's.

It goes through belt tensioners quickly and doesn't run right all the time. Those are Milzy's words.

agreed on the 5 speed vs auto part, if that GA is really putting down 227whp then it's probably making the same, maybe more, than jason, at the crank. BUT, jason is putting down around 250lb/ft of torque.... and if that GA is putting down less than me(202lb/ft) well....... it's still slow

as usual, Milzy is full of shit..

Yes, Jason's 3400 Cavalier dyno'd 239 WHP with a MMS stage 2 cam, ported top end, headers, 3500 UIM/65mm TB and a few other misc things.

It is a 5 speed though...

Post up your dyno sheets from the bash! My best dyno run was 239HP @ 5950, 235 lb/ft @ 4400. That is only a gain of 11 HP over last year (was also 10* warmer this year), but look how much better the overall curve looks in the last graph where I overlayed last years dyno. Much smoother curve &...

207 cubic inches never felt so powerful, especially without boost. JP's Grand Am holds the record for the most powerful naturally aspirated 3400, putting down an impressive 227.1 whp and 194.8 wtq.

    manual vs auto too.

Id say polished looks the best, with some clearcoat
