one the second pull after i let off u can her an air hose rupture under the dyno.we all thought for sure that i kicked the rods out of the motor,i shut the motor off soon as i heard it but after about 30 seconds we relized it wasnt the car making the noise

we figure it should make that at 10 psi but we will see

when we figured the 300rwhp was with the old turbo at 9 psi with a race wight of just under 3450 pounds,we did calcs to come up with that number and they are generally really close but not exact

we did the calcs with et vs wirght and also checked it with mph vs car wieght one comes up as 311rwhp the other comes up as 307rwhp

when that hose or whatever happened on the dyno came apart we thought i kicked the rods out of the motor it was friggen loud, when i get the vids up im sure u will see everyone jump and hear it

well ok im gonna have to post up what the issues was for u to understand

my peak hp and tq should happen up in the 5,500-6,200 range with the cam im using

before the dyno i had reverted ignition control back to my stock ecm,not relizing that without the factory maf on the inlet of the turbo that the ecm would not advance ignition timing.so what we did was unhook the maf this set the ecm into limp home mode which pulls out all the ignition timing.

we also verified this with a timming light on the dyno, max ignition timming was *8 btdc, no timming = no power and no ability to rev the motor up

peak numbers occured right around 4k so they should have been much higher

im not disapointed shit happens,i know what the issue is and its simple to fix so when i go back on wensday ill have some accurate numbers to post

to make a best quess on what it would have done id say around 350rwhp if the ignition was advancing @ 10#'s of boost

even witht he low hp number today im not really disapointed 370 ftlbs with how the car was dynoed is no small feat in its own

i didnt break nothing, though the dyno poped something during on of my pulls,
suring my second pull we heard this loud band and all the sudden this loud hissing sound, soon as the bang wa sheard the pull was aborted, it seems liek an ait hose or something ruptered under the dyno but it didnt affect it in anyway.

my issues were electronic issues and i prolly could have fixed it there but jay was being really cool and my car was on the dyno for a while and other ppl were waiting, so i said hell with it ill just come back so i didnt hold everyone else up

ive made ben aware of the exact issues we had but i will let him hear it from jay and let him post them if he so likes or ill just post the new dyno numbers when i go back with the car sorted out

ben assuming u called right before ur post time my car was on the dyno. i sent u a pm and will leave it upto u if u want to tell everyone about the issues we had.

best pull was 268rwhp and 367.6 ftlbs @10 psi but that pull was aborted at 4,200 rpms

as i told ben i setup another apointment for this wensday to fix a few issues that we had with the car.im not even gonna bother saying what they were.when ben hears it from jay the shop owner i will let him post up

vids and pics of graphs should be up soon

I'm not going to say anything else other than just know that there is always someone out there who has done more research than you, laughing at your mistakes. I always have that in the back of my mind.

I made the claim that I have the fastest all motor V6 cavalier, and i backed that up with timeslips, track/dyno videos, dyno sheets and witnesses. Just waiting on yours..
so have i there is no faster 60* powered f-body as of yet, the closest one is a full half second slower then when i had the old turbo.the proof is already posted on these boards.

u guys dont even know what size motor im running but u will find out when it gets torn down

    thnx man
i cant exactly explain that one yet, but after the dyno when i rip the motor down to transfer everything to the new block i will post detailed pics and specs.

8k was an accident, that actually the highest ive reved it yet,7,700 was the max before this.
but it didnt miss a beat or float the valves, but it does have a real high spring rate valve spring in it. i have to get the part number off the box and dbl check it to verify but i belive the springs are 125# seat and 345+ open
