you just need an AVT cable like I said in my last post. the cable unlocks the software.

does the obd2 DOHC use the same PCM as the 3100/3400? or could it?

I'm not sure that it does, I don't think the TDC is supported by DHP or HP tuners. that's not to say you couldn't make it work. I'm unsure of the exact sensor parameters that are used with the TDC.

        software is here:

probably good do DL this too

So does anyone know if zzp is the only place to get a stall converter for a 4t65hd?

Call Revmax and ask them. Top notch guys and they have really good prices.

I second that... I have a revmax converter on my 4t60e... WAY tighter than my PDQ and the stall I got was listed as higher than the PDQ one.

Does anyone know what stock coil bind is on this engine. I just want to make sure I can get .411" lift out of the exhaust valves and .396 out of the intake. I have not seen any evidence that valve springs were switched on any other build where these cams were used

Coil bind, retainer-to-guide/seal, valve-to-piston--all need to be verified.

You said you surfaced and pressure-tested the heads. Did you do a valve grind, and inspect the seats?
