I stopped out by Ben this weekend and we removed the cogs from my '92 cams. Once I get the '96 cams back we'll be sending these out for profiling, then we'll know them all once and for all.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

What kind of time frame are we looking at? When do the 96s come back?
I want "buy in rights" to the info. Anyone else wants to know the specs should be charged for the knowledge. 320 views and 30 replies...mostly the same people replying.1984 Indy Fiero 3.4L

I disagree with this 100%, and here is why:I want "buy in rights" to the info. Anyone else wants to know the specs should be charged for the knowledge. 320 views and 30 replies...mostly the same people replying.
1) I asked for donations to help get the cams shipped out. And while that was appreciated, I certainly never intended it to be considered as "buy in rights." If that's what you were looking for, you should have asked about it before you donated.
2) You don't further a community by keeping things to yourself. And this is the reason I am glad I belong to the 60degreev6 community. We're all happy to share things with each other, and it was never Ben's or my intention to keep this info secret. I'm paying to have the cams profiled because Ben can't afford to at the moment and it will help further his research and progress with the Dynomation software.
3) I can't accept you justification that 320 views among 30 posts means so few are interested. Not every on the forum has a 3.4, a lot less than are pushrods owners. And not every one is out to make horsepower. Some just want answers to mechanical issues.
I won't say that we'll make the info available to everyone, that is yet to be determined. But we'll surely make it available to anyone that can use it, regardless of whether you put in toward shipping or not. My guess would be the others who put in would share that sentiment.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

It's cool. Like I said, we can decide that when it comes to it. But I'm not out to make money on this. We just want to further the community.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

We haven't done 91-95 cams on this level yet. Those are next once I get the 96 cams back. Then we'll have the definitive answer on which is better.I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

4 degrees overlap??? holy hell, that isn't much.
I see room for improvment... anyone else with me on that?
