    you can make 500 whp with the ported 3500 manifold and a 65mm tb. Once again, how much power do you plan on going for? No reason to modify something that can make more power than your goal.

      Lol, I'm mainly wanting to do this to see how far I can take it. I have a ported upper and lower already, and I figure why not do something with the other 3 manifolds I have collecting dust. If it works and is legit, cool. if it doesn't, well than I will throw the ported parts and 65mm adapter back on and roll.

        also, FWIW, a lincoln Pro-mig 180 set to heat range "D" and a wire speed of 7 seems to work well on the stock castings...



        The neck had been cut off of the intake, and it's back on there secure now...
