So Trewyn, i thought you had a 95-99 but i guess i was confused with another member, none the less pacesetters are made for your monte and will work.

Ben, are you a pacesetter dealer now?? or do you just buy a few sets to sell for convenience?
so your are GUARANTEEING me that they will work =p, i got a little while until i'll look into them but i dont wanna have to modify a ton of crap for them to work

so they wont work on my monte without modification? my best bet would probably be with a downpipe?

I also just read that pacesetter headers are no longer in production because of fitment issues, they're coming out with a new header in a month or two? something i read on youtube, so have no idea if its true or not

Currently there is nothing special for the W-body vehicles, IIRC 60*Inclusive is still in the making of those, but i could imagine the N-body headers could be modified to fit.
How ever Pacesetter makes headers for the W-body right now and they are pretty cheap, but i'm not sure how they would fit in a 4th gen when there made for a 5th gen

Here's another one to get your guys' post counts up lol.

after i get the LIM and Throttle body i want to go with either headers or a downpipe. Now i know that there are headers for the Grand prix years like 99-05 or something here, but will those fit without modification on my Monte, or are there any that will fit without modification?

Also if not, for the downpipe, is there one here? I know milzy has it for sure, but the price is high and sometimes i'm not a fan of how he does business.

If it is an EGR delete plate, it's just bolted on in place of (or under if you want to keep the EGR on there for visual inspections) with a gasket between it and the manifold.

I will have to take and post pics of how it is done but there is more than just the plate on the manifold itslef that needs to be put on?

I'm not sure how the manifolds are modified for the delete, but I know the EGR delete plates work by closing off the supply and inject ports for the EGR system. Then after that it's just taking care of turning off the EGR valve in the computer. If you have emissions in your area, you might want to consider how you do this. I've heard of cars that had the EGR turned off still passing emissions after Ben's tuning, but those cars were not hooked to a computer and monitored while the test was in progress, it was just a simple sniff test.
