would there be any harm done just keeping the stock exhaust with a high flow cat after the headers?Originally posted by bob442 View Postyou can do what ever you want, if your going to get headers you maise well do the whole exhaust and take it to a repurable shop, replacing the CAT witha high flow from Magnaflow, and your own poison of mufflers or and resenators

this makes me kinda iffy on buying then, i wouldnt want to buy and then have a leak.. although i would like the horsepower increase..Originally posted by bob442 View PostSeems to be everyone has a leak issue with the flanges, but its hard to voutch for everyone, most of them could be some hillbilly red neck putting them on in there back yard for all i know. I'm not saying anyone here is one how every haha,
I think i started a thread asking about them a few months ago, all i got was "a friend of mine got them and the flanges leak" and "they leak" when i called pacesetter and asked what do they think of there product, and what they thought of the problems i brought up, they said use your own descretion. So it leaves me to wonder if you use proper head gaskets, new ones, and make sure the flanges are perfectly flat before installing there shouldnt be any issues. The pipe that connects the front header to the rear has a small flex pipe in it anyways where as some models dont, so it could be part of the issue.
you can't do a downpipe and headers can you?

yours are first generation, generation is basically just by body style and can apply to any vehicle
for example, a chrysler town and country goes by generations also..

So where does my 91 and my 92 fit in? I was only aware of 3 generations as well, but I guess that would be for FWD only as far as we go.Originally posted by bob442 View Post70-72 is 1st, 73-77 is 2nd, 78-80 is 3rd, 81-88 is 4th, 95-99 is 5th, and 00-05 is 6th, and somehow 06-08 is this 6.5 gen but all they changed was the motors?

makes perfect sense, do you work out of your home? or do you have like your own store?Originally posted by SappySE107 View PostIts a matter of space and money. Id rather stock cams and pistons before headers simply because of the space they take up:P Then when we do stock headers, id rather stock our own first.
