just so you know im very excited to see the numbers that this thing puts down-im hoping to build a 600 horse turbo or twin turbo 3.5-i figure ill have to build the crap outta that bottom end to handle that-so i cant wait to see what yours does on what im assuming is a stock bottom end?
exactly what engine is this and what all has been done to it (were the heads made for a 3.1 or 3100 or 3400 etc...)? also thumbs up on the work so far-well done

yeah i will be, teh thing that sucks is i tuned for the 67 mm turbo, and now i steped down to a 61mm unit, so i gota do some retuning,
the bigger gain is going to come from the ex side i think, the new stage wheel and .82 housing should free up a good bit on the top end, the old t3 63 housing was starting to show its limits around 6,700 rpms
this new turbo will max at around 520 whp vs the old t3/t4 which would have maxed around 360ish whp and i should have been within 50 hp of that number

Will you be running at the track with the exact same setup then? It would be nice to put a track time to the dyno sheet.

ok cool man, not trying to be pushy im just not a last minute type of person, specially since im relying on friend to tow me etc, and he needs a deff yes or no before the date.
ill just tell him its a deffinate.
tommorow i will be installing the new turbo, so ill get some pictures and nail down the specs and target boost levels for the dyno and post them up

well i finally got it
t3/60-1 fullrace turbo
.82 t3 hotside
.70 coldside

im steping down my turbo for the time being.
what i did is take a t3 turbo and bought a t67 cold side, i was told that it the cold side would support over 650 hp which it will.but we didnt relize how small the turbine wheel was we thought it was a stage 3 wheel.turns out after measuring it it was a std wheel. so that huge compressor wheel is severly limited by the ex side.
so i need to either upgrade the hotside to a stage 3/5 or i may just go with a prtim wheel
im holding off on it for the time being as im supposed to be getting a 60-1 turbo with a stage 3 .82 hotside. so if i get that that will go on the car. if not ill prolly hit the dyno with the ebay turbo

im just worried about something comming up like they say it cant be done that day and then not being able to tow the car. etc
race season starts back up here next weekend so its very hard for me to get a truck and trailer.i know i have one for sure for the 14th.
just a lil worried that the spots for that day may fill up and then i wont be able to get the car there

You want me to pay now? I think we can take care of payment a little closer to the set date since its an event they are holding. I didn't see it say anything about presales.
