no luck on a boost controller so low boost will be whatever spring i decide run

problem is my boost controller can only dbl the wastegate spring presure ( ball and spring/ bleed type) it hooks up to the bottom port only

so if i put in my 9psi spring im limited to about 18-20 psi tops

so ill prolly have to go with my 15 psi spring unless i can borrow a boost controller from my friend that plumbs into the top of the wastegate that will allow me to run a 9 psi spring and still hit high boost 25-28 psi

ill see what i can do though

well seeing as ive swaped out the intercooler and turbo i cant setup the car the way i did for the 13.0 run

i could dyno at 9 psi like that run was but its still a larger turbo so it would more then likley put down more power

my plan is to do a first pull to check everything out at 16 psi then do a pull at 22 psi and the final pull at 28 psi

but if i know for a fact my tune is good before the dyno i will start the first pull at 22 psi

im hoping to be able to get this thing over 30 pounds eventually

i have a date in mind

will be cheaper then a normal day,and it leaves me enough time to make sure the car is 100%

just gota check with my friend towing my car to make sure he can do it on that day

u can boost the hell out of a lot of engines if u can tune it right.the tune plays a big part in if it will blow up or not.

yeah i know its been a while but this is still gonan happen, another week or so i should be able to start working on the car again.

as of right now my vision in my left eye is still a lil blured but 100x better then what it was a week ago

NICE! This makes me feel so much better about being a 60 lover, knowing you guys can boost the hell out of these engines and still take it! Guess that 250hp 3100 that I want to build will be able to last for alot of miles! No stress at all!60's rock!:

while its very hard to get something in ur eye with them on its still possible, from now on i will be using goggles instead of glasses since they offer better protection.

i also made things worse when u get something in ur eye ur first instaintct is to rub ur eye, which u shouldnt do. well i did it and ended up pushing the pieces of metal deeper into my eye.

wish i could take a picture of my eye for u guys so u could see how serious it really is.
hopefully those of u who do read this will always were ur saftey glasses and whatnot this is somethign u really do not want to have to go threw.
ive had broken bones and cut fingers on the bandsaw etc that havent hurt as bad as this does
This is pure truth! Goggles are ftmfw! As much as I hate the comfort of them, it's the least to put up with rather than a shrapnel in the eye.
I'd rather look like a dork than an idiot with no eye sight.
