Jon, are the ones Asylum has not compatible with a 94-96 28mm sway bar? Or was it some other issue with the older bars? Eric says that a front sway bar won't work I ask because he is selling them...

John, I'm up for the first set... Just let me know when...

BUT just remember, johnnymossville came to me and asked me how I modified the first set of S&S Headers that ever got put in a Beretta, without of course cutting the floor pan out, (like someone else did to not have to modify the headers)

I was the first one with a cut up set of S&S Headers in my daily car, and since then I made a set for Shane, And Asylum, and Shane sold that set with his 91 to Eric Wood, and then johnny modified his own set going by my pics and method, and then Barry on Bstuff modified a set of the Pacesetter headers to fit his application.

    Man, you're such a cock j/k

Not trying to take anything away from anyone, but I did build the l-body headers that took Loner's Corsica into the 12's

You see, I just can't grasp the idea that you guys are paying for a set of headers, then paying to have them modified (if the user doesn't have the ability/tools) when you can just buy bolt-on's from the beginning.

I have been trying for some time to get headers built for both the l and j bodies, posting on local forums and just trying to get a car here to test on and they all are a bunch of talkers with no balls.

Just like my siggy implies: Speeds costs, how fast you want to go? I even offered them to make the headers, take them off to reproduce, then put them back on and all they had to pay for was materials. Can't get much cheaper than that!

Yeah, well... I was the first Beretta owner to own a set of S&S headers. So

As far as the O2 placement, I simply had the shop weld in a bung AFTER the collector, and installed my wideband there, then just plugged the hole S&S provided.

Easy to get to from underneath the car.

IMO, its looks like the rear set don't drop down at a good enough angle to pass our firewalls on a J

It helps that i don't have A/C or a stock fan... that would be an issue for sure. I'm going to modify them over the next couple weeks to get rid of the 2 bolt flanges and the 2" crossover. It's going to be 2.25" right off the collector all the way through..

Right now the 2 bolt flanges reduce to 1 7/8" ID, i'm sure that's helping the torque but i'd be happy to lose some of it. The ceramic coating is looking pretty ugly now as well

    Dave........ exception to the rule.

most people woudn't bother with it, or be too intimidated.

i'm sure if john wanted to, he could make them, but that probably adds a bit of extra cost and complexity...

too bad equal length tubes would be tough/impossible to pull of in a L-car...

If i can do it in a J body it can be done in a L body
